Trueheart A True kind heart....... with super gaits......
(Impressionist x Tanziana *E* x Avignon II) Homozygous Registered Trakehner Colt ORB-A-S2222 Foaled May 27, 2009 Bred by - Emerald Acres Trakehners Owned by LaNet Hester
Pictured above at age 2yrs and 9months We are very excited about Truman.. He carries some very old and influential Trakehner bloodlines from his sire and his dam. We purchased Truman sight unseen as a yearling based on his bloodlines which are known for rideabilty, trainabilty and great dispositions. We have high hopes for this young boy. He comes from 4 full generation of proven Trakehner bloodlines in sport (dressage/jumping).
Trueheart was genetic tested at VGL at UC Davis and is homozygous for dark colors only (he can not have chestnut foals no matter what color the mare is). His genetic DNA color testing is EEAa, per UC Davis. He has no red gene factor detected and he carries a positive and negative agouti gene. So he can only throw black, bay or brown foals depending on the mates color genetics. To find out color scheme % as well as more information on color testings you can go here - **************************
Above - being lightly started Spring of 2012.
Truman has two test foals due for the 2012 foaling season. One to a sport Arabian mare (foal is spoken for and not for sale) named J.A Montage and we bred him to our Trakehner Mare Siegi (sired by Veneziano). Siegi foal will be for sale. Based on color testings, the only color scheme possibilities for this foal is 50% Bay or 50% Black.
Here is a pedigree breakdown by Dr Maren Englehardt, www.trakehners-international.com "Impressionist is one of the ATA's most popular stallions of our time. He is a son of the Grand Prix dressage stallion, Hailo *Pg*E*, a fact that makes him a member of the very successful dressage line of EH Marduc - EH Anduc. Marduc was ranked as one of the top stallions in Germany with a score of 144.
Impressionist, Truman sire Halio, sire of Impressionist, and grand sire to Truman This line has produced numerous approved stallions (eg EH Herzzauber, EH Angard, Induc, EH Lehndorffs, etc) as well as highly valued broodmares and performance horses for the upper levels. Impressionist's dam line traces back to a Polish bred Trakehner line, and his maternal bloodlines include the famous Elite Stallion Mackensen as well as the Throoughbred stallion Neuquen xx who sired the influential Grand Prix stallion, Saint Cloud (now in Denmark). a very close relation exists to the Grand Prix stallion EH Charly Chaplin, who is by EH Mackensen out of a Neuquen xx daughter, making him a 3/4 brother to Impressionist's dam.
Tanzania *E* - Truman's dam The dam line of Tanzania *E* goes back to the original Main Stud Trakehnen mare, Tapete, (by Pythagoras), whose family is one of the most successful in the breed today and has branched out into two major lines in Germany: the Tip-Top, Tilsit III family at Panker, which stands for the stallions E.H. Tambour, Thalys, E.H. Tenor, Travell, E.H. Tivano and E.H. Tuareg and the Traviata and Tracht line at Birkhausen that produced predominantly excellent show jumpers. Tanzania *E* has two fully approved Trakehner sons Tatendrang and Tycoon *E* means she received her Elite status with the ATA due to her offspring achievements.
Tanzania's sire, Avignon II, Truman's grandsire Dam sire,
Avignon II, was a full brother to the breeding outstanding major sire, E.H.
Arogno, (sire of TCN Partout ridden by Anky van Grunsven), and the States
Premium and Premium Mare Anna Karenina; half brother to numerous graded
stallions including Istanbul and Damaskus. Avignon II proved to be the
sire of multiple champions, in hand as well as all disciplines. He is also
sire of ATA approved stallion Pajou and 1996 ATA National Champion Mare The Noir
Vom Castell. 20 years after his importation to the US, his impact is
still seen in Germany, exemplified by his granddaughter Livonne, State Premium
and Verband Premium mare in Europe.
Finally we have
Flaneur. This stallion is one of the strongest and internationally most
recognized lines with significant influence also in other warmblood breed.
He was the Reserve Champion of the 1967
Körung at Neumünster, and was approved with the comments: "Exemplary model
with much significance in the whole appearance. Typey head; good neck;
well-positioned, broad, and well-muscled shoulder; good and uniformly
conditioned body. Strong and correct in the foundation with good, straight
movement. The stallion has proven himself to be a predictable, above-average
sire." Performance tested at Westercelle 1968, Flaneur was highly scored and
described as follows: "Quiet, very balanced temperament, playful but good in
character. Constitution tight and firm. Good rideability, balanced,
uncomplicated and comfortable to ride. Better than average jumping ability;
good overall performance ability; good ground-covering walk, swinging and
correct trot, well-balanced loose canter. A stallion with many possibilities."
His impact on the Trakehner breed is great, having sired 15 graded stallions
in Germany (the most important generally considered to be Arogno) and 106 Stud
Book daughters, including the States Premium Mare Maharani II (dam of Elite
Stallion Mackensen and full brothers Mahagoni and Marlon) and Elite Mares
Kanconette and Karawane II. His descendents are sought after for competition,
and his son Troubadour was Christine Stückelberger's reserve mount for the
Seoul Olympics. Flaneur died in 1988.
