This is a special boy and I put a lot of thought into this cross!  He is currently still intact but can be gelded if buyer wishes prior to being shipped.  I bred him late in season of 2008, and he was born August 1, 2009 at approx 6am.   He was strong and beautiful at birth and extremely independent.

Armand hauls, leads, ties, is good for farrier and is up to date on all shots and wormings.  At age 2yr and 5months he stands just between 16.1 and 16.2 on the measure stick.  I expect him to mature to 17h and he will be of substantial body frame for a larger or tall rider.  Even with the size, he still exhibits a elegant exterior and all three gaits are very pleasing to the eye.  His conformation is almost flawless and he shows the ability to sit and engage naturally with his hindquarters (true to what his sire line has proven over and over to produce).

As many of you know, I have been a Amorex fan for over a decade (my past foals by Vivaldi are from the same bloodlines, sire was Napoleon).  LOVE this line!

Amorex bloodlines are from proven upper level dressage with Olympic Amiral. One of the most successful Swedish stallions in both dressage and breeding. Owner: Flyinge AB, Sweden. Died February 3 2003.  Dam line 50, Bjerstedtska family or Frejafamily.  Amrial was titled as Elite for his accomplishments in breeding and performance.   Amiral received perfect 10´s for all gaits at his performance testing at 4.5 years of age. Amiral and Kyra Kyrklund won or placed in numerous GP dressage shows, including a 9th at the European championship, 5th at the World Cup final at s’Hertogenbosch, and 10th at the World Championship, Rome 1998. He was placed 5th among all horses and 3rd among stallions in the 1997 WBFSH ranking.  Gaits 10-10-10, total score 45 points, some of the highest scores ever in Sweden.

Armand's dam, Grand Virtue (papered Oldenburg/pink papers) is sired by the imported Oldenburg stallion, Grand Canyon who stood in CA.  Grand Canyon carries the bloodlines of Graphit x Lombard as well as a 1/4 of TB in her lower mare line.  This line has proven high in jumpers as well as dressage with the noted offspring.
